  1. I have high hopes for these BAT 181 units. The BAT 026 that came with the tools are going belly up in a few short years, very little shelf life, loss of run time, approaching junk status, will run the flashlight for 5 min. if I’m lucky. Thinking about calling Bosch about the BAT 026 units. DeWalt and Makita have been perfect in all respects.

  2. The battery works, but for a short time only, and it does not hold a charge very well…kind of dissapointed in it…

  3. I 1st thought I had purchased the wrong product , but come to my satisfaction and speaking with different people , I had the correct product. I don’t know what I would do without my battery operated power tools. Thanks amazon for making my purchase simple and pain free, even after I thought I had the wrong item, csr’s were very helpful to see that I was happy with my purchase.

    :)

  4. Found the best deal on Amazon, with a bundle pack to replace the dead pair I had. I forgot what the BlueCore thing was, but it seems to help with the lifespan. Either way, good deal.

  5. I bought the cordless jigsaw less than two years ago and hardly EVER used it. I followed the charging and draining instructions to the letter, and now after six or seven months of storage, the battery is dead. I always drained the battery after use, never left it in the charger, and never overheated it. I’ll bet I don’t have more than 60 minutes of total run time on this battery! I am very disseminated in the performance of their ni-cad junk. I do, however, like the jig saw and will buy a corded model. I have a DeWalt combo pack that I have been very happy with and will continue to buy DeWalt Cordless. If you only need a cordless Bosch for a short time and then plan to sell it, it will work. Otherwise, stay away from Bosch Cordless products.
