I HAVE ONLY OWNED THIS RADIO A SHORT TIME BUT I DO LIKE THE SMALL SIZE. I OWN DEWALT, MAKITA,MILWAUKEE AND BOSCH JOB SITE RADIOS. THIS RADIO DOES NOT HAVE QUITE THE SOUND AS THE LARGER ONES BUT IS STILL VERY VERY NICE. IF YOU ALREADY OWN RIDGID POWER TOOLS AND DO NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE BATTERIES I WOULD CONSIDER THIS ONE BECAUSE OF PERFORMANCE AND SMALL SIZE. SOMETIMES I USE TWO RADIOS ON A JOB SITE SO THAT IS ONE REASON I LIKE THE SIZE. ON A SCALE OF 10 I WOULD GIVE IT 8.8
